In 1996 Fred Chen came from Taiwan and founded in Shanghai a company
known as Huanuo Sword Art. In 1998 they learned from a Japanese Smith
traditional sword forging. Ever since they are making top quality katana’s,
wakizashi’s and tanto’s. The Product lines for Japanese Swords now are High
Carbon Steel 1060, High Carbon Steel 1095 and Tamahagane Steel. The blades
will differ in treatment and style of polishing. The traditional polish is with
real Japanese Stones and is taking for more than 60 hours. Huanuo Sword Art
is OEM of some world famous brands.

Quality and craftsmanship is very important and they have learned a lot since
then. Nowadays they can forge Japanese, Chinese and Western Swords.
